This is a picture of chicken and and potatos being cooked together in a pot over a fire
What they ate:
meats like rabbit, goose,duck,pigions, chicken, pig, cow/cattle,and larks
They grew grapes, figs, and potatos
The spices they had were mints, saga, rosemary, and paresly
they also made lots of pastas
How they cooked there food:
They cooked in large kettles over the fire
They baked on stones that were over the fire
and for pieces of meat they put them on sticks and roast them
Who ate what:

he serfs or peasants did not have much money so they had barley for every meal every day.
wealthy nobles could afford good food so they meat, fish, wheat, and they had many spices to make there food better
people in the middle ages did not have a well balanced diet
What tools they used to cook:
They used pots and kettles to cook soup
Just like today they used spoons, forks, and knives
fire sticks were also very common to make the fire bigger.
Pot holders or hooks were used to hold the pot over the fire
they used a flesh hook to cleen fish
